Easy Einkorn Waffles
How to make easy Einkorn Waffles!
The nesting is real y'all.
When your husband comes in from his woodshop at 11 pm to find you at the counter mixing up 36 waffles to freeze for after baby....you know things might have just got slightly out of hand. Ha!
Nevertheless, I LOVE this waffle recipe, so let's get right to it. I've been whipping different things up like crazy with my new einkorn flour from Jovial Foods, it's been messy, I've had some disasters, but it't been a blast!
Here's what you need:
- 1 Cup Whole Milk
- 1 Egg
- Pinch Of Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup (or honey)
- Splash of Vanilla Extract
- 1 Half Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Cup Einkorn Flour
Combine dry ingredients first, adding in wet ingredients, mix until batter is smooth.
This recipe makes about 12(ish) small waffles(I have a tiny waffle maker) but I double or triple it always so I can freeze some. :)
It's that simple! Enjoy y'all!
