BEAUTY ESSENTIALS ON A BUDGET
Beauty Essentials on a Budget!
Now that I'm a mama(and I'm sure you can relate), I have little time for nonsense. Whether that be in the kitchen, grocery store, or ahem, makeup stores. Gone are the days of browsing various tones of foundation and comparing eye shadow shades to match my precise skin tone(just kidding, ain't nobody got time for that! Kids or no!). Forget it. Give me simple, easy to use, and most importantly, inexpensive makeup products. So here are just a few of my absolute favorites!
1. Maybelline's Baby Skin Pore Eraser
I've been using this product for a year or two now, so it's nothing new. But I LOVE it. It makes your skin feel so smooth whilst helping everything you apply go on smooth as well.
2. Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush in Pearlescent Pink
If you're looking for a REALLY budget friendly blush, this should be your pick. I've found it goes on best with a beauty blender and it only takes a little(not kidding, use too much and you'll look like Bosco the Clown).
3. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
So this may be my favorite dupe of the day! This product is basically a spin-off of the Beauty Blender, WHICH I might add, is 20$, while this sponge is only 5$. It works just as well and blends beautifully, just make sure to wet it first(sorry non-wetting blenders, wet blenders are the only way to go, ha! Did I seriously just write that? smh)!
4. Elf Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls
I love this highlighter, but I've only ever had luck applying it with a blender. Brushes do not seem to get enough of the highlighter onto the bristles, and it will not show up on your face. The blender works great however and makes the highlighter(2.99$) worth the buy!!
5. & 6. Elf Eyebrow Pencil in Light & Elf Eyebrow Brush & Comb
These two beauties are the ONLY thing I use on my brows! Simple & definitely budget friendly!
7. L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara
I actually found this one while looking for the best Too Faced BTS dupe. It not disappoint, small & compact, with a pretty rose-gold exterior, I love this mascara! It applies beautifully and it's price is pretty beautiful too. 8$ compared to Too Faced's 22$!!
8. Maybelline's Master Precise Skinny Eyeliner
This eyeliner is purrrrfect for perfecting your cat eyes!
9. Neutrogena Shine Control Foundation in Nude
I have extremely oily skin, so I'm always on the lookout for makeup products that minimize shine. This has been my favorite foundation for oily skin so far!
10. Hard Candy Highlighter & Contour Face Duo Stick
As I said before, being a mama, I don't have a lot of time. So when I want the contour look but don't want to fool around with all the different shades and brushes, I use this! It comes in two colors, light & medium. Simply apply to the areas you want to contour, and blend with your handy dandy beauty blender(AKA your Real Techniques sponge, ha!)!
That's all for today friends!
Make sure to like & share, & if you would like me to post my mama makeup routine be sure to let me know! :)
I found all of these products at Walmart, but they are also available at Target & other drugstores!
