Christmas Peppermint Sugar Scrub

 Hello friends! 

Today I have a SUPER easy last minute Christmas DIY for you!

It’s a peppermint sugar scrub just perfect for the ladies(or whoever needs pampering in your life!), featured in my Christmas Homemaking video on my YouTube channel! 

I saw a lot of these on the interwebs so I just modified it to work with what I had on hand, & you can do the same! 

Here’s what you’ll need:

3 cups of sugar(I used regular refined white)

1 cup coconut oil(I used organic great value brand)

25 drops(more or less depending on if you like a stronger scent or not) I use Doterra’s peppermint essential oil! You can use whatever essential oil you like, I just love peppermint for the Christmas season!

Blend all ingredients together in food processor(my blender was not powerful enough but it’s old & rickety so yours might work just fine!)

That’s it! Really!

Then I scooped them into little mason jars, hot glued some pretty Christmas ribbon & screwed the lids on tight! I also added some handmade cardstock tags. There are a lot of options for labels/tags on the internet, you can get creative! I just kept mine simple: cardstock, sharpie, written ingredients & shelf life, that’s all! Then I tied them on with twine & viola! A fancy schmancy last minute Christmas present!
