NEW BEGINNINGS//2017 WRAP UP
New Beginnings
Hello lovelies!
How was everyone's Christmas?
Mine was spent at home with family staying warm & eating too much homemade candy!
But now that the holidays are over & there's only 4 days left of 2017, it's time to do some reflecting on this past year & make some plans for the new one ahead!
For Christmas my hubby got me a lovely planner from Horacio Printing that is just amazing! It has specific pages to help you write out your goals & steps to accomplish them. As well as charts for how you plan to grow in all walks of life. This is so helpful for me, given I can sometimes get distracted from my goals because, well, life.
One of the best parts is that 10% of funds from your purchase go to A21, an organization fighting against world sex-trafficking! How awesome is that?!
This year has been stunning, I honestly went into 2017 without knowing what to expect at all. SO many changes occurred this year! Some of them were hard, but all of them were mostly good I feel.
Here's just a few of my favorite moments...
Boy, what a ride pregnancy has been. I feel like I've been pregnant all year, but I'm thankful to be nearing the end!
August//We found out we are having a baby BOY!
September//My grandmother & I made Case's baby quilt!
November//Case's baby shower :)
January//Washington D.C
January//State capitol
April
December//Bump's first Christmas!
- MY GOALS FOR 2018:
-Be more present//focus on the moment
-Run another marathon//run 1,000 miles
-Read 50 books
-Complain less, thank more
-Go overseas!
-Pray more
-Rush less
-Drink more water & stretch more
-Limit my distractions//spend less time on my phone & more time getting fresh air or laughing with family & friends
-Quit comparing//We've all heard the saying that goes something like: comparison is the thief of joy//I really want to apply this to my life in 2018
I hope these helped inspire you a bit & come up with your own 2018 goals! Tell me what they are in the comments!
