FIRST TRIMESTER ESSENTIALS
First Trimester Essentials!
Hey all!
Now that it seems like I am FINALLY starting to move out of the 1st trimester, (12 weeks on Friday!) I thought I would post some essentials that I've needed or used quite often these first few weeks!
1. Teas & Preggie Pops!
I was a major tea-drinker as it was before my pregnancy, but now it's a must! Although some days the morning sickness was so fierce I couldn't even stomach tea, it definitely helped ease my mind (& tummy!) later on in the day! The Mama-To-Be Tea was found at Baby's-R-Us & the Yogi Ginger tea at Target :)
These preggie pops were awesome to stick in my purse on the go! Found at Baby's-R-Us.
2. Prenatal Vitamins!
Now this is something you can't really tell is making a difference in your body but all doctors usually recommend taking them before & during pregnancy! These are my favorite because they are gummies and easy to take in the morning despite morning sickness. :) I got them at Target!
3. An upbeat playlist!
Sometimes the hormones can really get you down! Music always helps me to relax & just smile over nothing at all! Make sure it's happy music though, sad music will only bring you down more!
Here's my go-to songs right now:
1. Stay (Alessia Cara & Zedd)
2. Perfect (Ed Sheeran)
3. How Far I'll Go (From Moana)
4. Believer (Imagine Dragons)
5. Unwritten (Natasha Bedingfield)
4. Pregnancy Books!
These first few weeks of my pregnancy have had me anxious not going to lie! But I found that reading up on the issues I was most concerned about helped ease my anxiety and be more informed & excited to meet precious baby Clines in January!
That's all for today y'all! Hope some of these tips were helpful! :)
