WHOLE WHEAT FLAX SEED BANANA BREAD
Whole Wheat Flax Seed Banana Bread!
Hey y'all!
So I've always loved baking & sweets, but since I've been pregnant I've had a major sweet tooth! But since I can also be a health nut, I've tried to find healthier versions of some of my favorites(like banana bread!). So today I'm sharing my recipe for whole wheat banana bread! It's SO moist & hearty! Perfect for breakfast with coffee, WHICH I'm finally able to stomach again after moving out of the 1st trimester. Thank goodness!!
SO, you will need:
1 1/2 cup of Whole Wheat Flour
2 Tbsps baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter softened
1 cup brown sugar (Or your favorite sugar)
1/2 cup almond milk
1/3 cup flax seed
1 large egg
3 mashed bananas
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees, grease loaf pan.
2. Start by mixing together wet ingredients, then folding the dry:sugar, flour, salt, flax seeds, and baking powder.
3. Pour into loaf pan & bake 40-45 mins.
I usually melt butter on top after it's baked just to give it that something extra! But you could also coat it with something healthier, like honey. :)
